You don’t need to have a neurological disorder to become the victim of boredom. Reading is hard, and reading assigned books is even worse! Of course we all want that satisfaction of getting to the last page of a book, but sitting still for too long leads to- BAM, a sleep attack.
We’ve all been there, and it’s frustrating. Luckily, there’s a hack for that! Download the Audible app in the AppStore, pop in some earbuds (or blast it on a loud speaker), and get to multitasking!
Choose something that doesn’t demand too much brainpower, so you can focus on your audiobook. Here’s some cool little suggestions:
- Make a friendship bracelet
- Do some squats, or go on a run
- Cook something yummy
- Doodle in a notebook
- Put together some outfits in your wardrobe
Basically, anything you would do with some music on. Obviously everyone is different; some may need exercise to keep them going, and others can get by with granny-style knitting.
